This book is a true gem... for serious student only

First, It brings back the Prokhorovka tank battle (and Kursk battle) to reality. A more realistic view of this battle was quite necessary after years of misleading conclusions.
Second, it covers in deep the battle of the Mius river where the SS-Pz.Korps played a major role. It's without a doubt the best coverage of this unknown battle available.
Third, maybe the best part of the book, it's the coverage of the battle of Bogodoukhov (West of Kharkov) in august 1943 where SS-Pz.Korps played again a big role against russian armor. Almost no information exist on this battle but the coverage of Glantz in «From de Don to the Dniepr» is excellent to.

The pictures are very interesting, because mostly unpublished, and many maps help to understand the big picture because the book covers very complicated battles that are not easy to follow on a day-to-day base.
If you're are a big fan of unknown battles of the eastern front, This is a book to buy...
