I've the old 2-volume edition, but this/these remain really useful reference works. Many times I've found clarification or greater detail in this work for some obscure aspect of the war ar sea in WWII. Well worth acquiring.

Updated edition corrects and expands older two volume ed. Best book ever on the sea war in WW2.

Doctor Rohwer's book unsurpassed in the field of World War Two naval works. A most important compilation of incredible detail about all the war asea.
