Excellent day to day chronical of fighter operations over the western desert. Nicely written with coverage of both axis and Allied air forces. Hight recommended.

Feedback from Dominic A. Ciocca, Jr. on Saturday, 31 March 2012

Rates this book: 3 star

Information on the Regia Aeronautica is sketchier than the rest as the Italian government did not cooperate with the author, but it's still OK in that regard. Quite readable despite a certain reference book quality. With foldout map and large photo section.

Very good for 1969 but now outdated and obseleted by new Mediterranean Air War book by Shores from this year.
