Feedback from visitors

Feedback from Bob on Friday, 25 November 2011

Rates this book: 5 star

This massive book has to be the best of the WW2 Guards books, if only one could give 5 Stars plus. Full of facts and first hand accounts of the Scots Guards in the various theaters of war. As I have written before even with the regimental diaries and help of the veterans it is writers such as Erskine who makes the difference between a mediocre and a great book.

PS. Be warned if you purchase a copy of this book be sure to check that the binding between the boards and first page is not split or damaged. Because this is such a heavy and large book I have noticed that on two other examples I inspected before I purchased my own that they both had split at the same place. If you are prepared to have it repaired all's well and good but what it would cost I don't know. Bob.
