This is one of the top five unit histories of all time. From the beginning with HALPRO through the end of the war, you follow the 376th through it all. Mr Walker has written a highly readable book, and once you start, you can't put it down. A must have for any World War II Aviation book collector.

This book is 612 pages crammed full of exciting information regarding this unit. It has several pages of photos of the men in each of the combat crews.
This book includes tables listing all missions, with analyses of each missiion. It contains over 500 pictures. Most are from the collections of group members which have never before been published.
There is definitely more information in this book than you could ever grasp. In the back there is a list of the names of the men that are containedin the book alphabetically.
The book I have was given to Lynn Pennington by Wendell Wilkins who flew 50 missions with the 376th Bomb Group.
