GOOD FIRST PERSON ACCOUNT BY A MEMBER OF DAS REICH DURING THE EARLY YEARS OF THE WAR. THE AUTHOR SERVED UNDER SOME FAMOUS SS OFFICERS. HIS DESCRIPTIONS OF THE FIRST WINTER IN RUSSIA VERY HARROWING. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SEQUEL.
