This book is an outstanding account of the Battle of the Bulge centering around Jochen Peiper and his 1st SS Panzer Regt as they attcked the Northern hinge of the Bulge. The maps, photographs,table of organization of German units, compliment the excellent day-to-day review of events as Peiper attempted lead the charge past Liege, to the port of Antwerp. I was a member of the 30th Infantry Division who played a major role of this battle.
