I'd have given this book 5 stars but unfortunately several of the photos were placed upside down and/or miscaptioned. The photo coverage seems to be somewhat skewed towards the RAF as well.
These criticisms aside, I'd say that this title gives a good overview of the night air war. It is mainly a collection of anecdotes from both sides. Extensive notes are present at the end of each so the authors obviously did their research. Appendices include a glossary of RAF/Nachtjagd "jargon" & a listing of the top 100 scoring pilots of the Nachtjagd.
I'll conclude this by saying that if you're looking for a decent single volume treatment of the subject, this book is worth a look.
